Why Parkinson’s UK?
Trustgreen are proud to announce Parkinson’s UK as our Charity of the Year for 2026.
Each year, we choose a charity that resonates with our team and reflects our commitment to making a positive impact beyond our day-to-day work. For 2026, Parkinson’s UK stood out for the vital work they do supporting people affected by Parkinson’s, funding pioneering research, and campaigning for better care and understanding.
Emily’s Story
Every year our charity of the year is submitted by our Trust people. This year, Emily Seabright put forward Parkinson’s UK as her nomination for fundraising.
Emily said this about her charity being chosen:
“Trustgreen choosing Parkinson’s UK as our Charity of the Year means a great deal to me, especially because my mum was diagnosed with Parkinson’s a few years ago. Parkinson’s is a progressive neurodegenerative condition that currently has no cure, which is why supporting Parkinson’s UK is so important. It’s not just about helping people today, but backing research that could lead to treatments that truly change lives.
My mum was genuinely thrilled to hear that Parkinson’s UK has been chosen for 2026. I feel incredibly grateful and inspired to be able to fundraise this year for a charity that supports people living with Parkinson’s and drives research toward better treatments. I’m excited for the year ahead and what we can achieve together to support such a meaningful cause.”
Trustgreen’s Support
Throughout 2026, we’ll be raising funds and awareness for Parkinson’s UK through a range of activities, events, and initiatives. These will include team fundraising challenges, charity events, and opportunities for colleagues to get involved in ways that matter to them.
We’re excited to work together as a team to support a cause that makes a real difference and to help shine a light on a condition that affects so many people across the UK.
Looking Ahead
Supporting Parkinson’s UK as our Charity of the Year is about more than fundraising, it’s about standing alongside a charity that delivers hope, practical help, and progress. We’re looking forward to a meaningful year of collaboration, community, and positive impact.
Thank you to everyone who will be getting involved and helping us support Parkinson’s UK in 2026.
We give back to good causes
