Challenges & Solutions
Trustgreen worked in close partnership with Barratt Homes in their strategic joint venture with Taylor Wimpey to ensure there was a Landscape Management Plan in place to suit the thriving ecological habitats along with the specific requirements of the Sports England pitches. A working party has been set up to ensure the successful integration of the site and the local community.
Following on from this the Upper Lighthorne Heath Support Partnerships (ULHSP) has been created to support the continued development of Upper Lighthorne Heath as a resilient, self-supporting community with access to appropriate services that support and enrich the lives of the community.
Next Steps
A phasing plan is being produced to ensure the delivery and ongoing management of the sports pitches, landscaping, ecological reserve, community building and village centre. The legal documents are in the process of being finalised including an overarching agreement with land owners and stakeholders linked to planning obligations and contractual obligations with BDW.
