Our aim is to welcome back nature to areas that may have been affected by construction whilst improving the lives of the people within the areas we manage and maintain.

We have an open outlook on how this can be achieved, from mentoring to sponsorship and investments in local communities.

Tarporley Beavers Club

Over the past week, we had the wonderful opportunity to hold workshops at Tarporley Beavers Club, where we assisted them in achieving their Nature Badge. During these workshops, we guided the Beavers in creating fat balls using sustainable resources, which they could later hang in their gardens to provide excellent nutrition for birds throughout the Winter months.

Homemade Fat Balls

The Beavers were enthusiastic and eager to learn about the various birds they can expect to see in their gardens with their homemade fat balls. We encouraged them to get their hands dirty and explore the natural world around them by engaging in various activities and discussions. Through these workshops, the Beavers gained valuable insights into the importance of conservation and the critical role they can play in preserving the environment. Overall, it was an enjoyable and educational experience for both groups, and we look forward to more such opportunities in the future.

Trustgreen provided goodie bags containing bird spotter sheets and wildflower seed packs, allowing children to continue their nature journey at home.
