Cerebral palsy charity Stick ‘n’ Step received a very welcome Christmas bonus, with over £4000 being raised from its annual Christmas raffle this year. The raffle was sponsored by supporter, open space management company, Trustgreen Ltd.

Nick Burton, Regional Manager at Trustgreen Ltd joined Stick ‘n’ Step Community Fundraiser Rhianna McDermott at the charity’s specialist centre in Runcorn on 15 December to draw the raffle. The main prize was £500, with two runners up prizes of hampers from John Lewis and Waitrose.

Nick, whose daughter Angel attends Stick ‘n’ Step’s centre in Wallasey explains: “We were delighted to sponsor this year’s Christmas raffle for the charity. I have witnessed first hand the wonderful work Stick ‘n’ Step does, and I am proud to be able to give something back. I would like to say a massive thank you to everyone who has bought raffle tickets this year – and well done to the winners.”

Stick ‘n’ Step provides free weekly conductive education sessions to children and young people with cerebral palsy up to the age of 25, allowing them to gain the skills they need to live more independent lives. The charity relies on supporters and volunteers to help raise the £750,000 required to deliver its services to over 100 families each year at its Wallasey and Runcorn centres.
