Making a difference in 2023
Trustgreen proudly supported Claire House Children’s Hospice in 2023, a local charity providing vital support to children with life-limiting conditions and their families
Claire House is a beacon of hope, care, and support for children and families facing unimaginable challenges. With its specialised care, respite stays, and emotional support services, the charity creates a nurturing environment where children can thrive and families can find solace during difficult times. Trustgreen is proud to support Claire House and contribute to their crucial work. The charity has two sites, a full hospice on the Wirral and a second site in West Derby, Liverpool, offering day-care, complementary therapies, clinics, play and music sessions, and counselling.
Throughout 2023, Trustgreen raised awareness and funds for Claire’s House through various fundraising initiatives, and events to engage employees, clients, and the wider community in supporting this incredible cause.
Ashley Maddock, Sioned Owen & Richard Thomas paid a visit to Claire House Children’s Hospice to announce our fundraising total for 2023! We were delighted to announce that we raised £9,000.00 for the charity.
The Trust team were eager to get stuck in an organised some fantastic fundraising events during 2023. Noor Stone kicked off the fundraising by completing 100 miles in May. Carly Ellis and Noor completed 10,000 skips between them during June – they took it in turns doing 333 skips every other day. Charlotte Spracklen organised a charity Fantasy Premier League fundraiser, Lewis Yii is currently top of the league table!
The Legal team organised a Pyjama Day where everyone dressed down and wore their PJ’s to work. We hosted our first Trustgreen Sports Day with 5 teams battling it out to be crowned the winners! Thank you to everyone who joined us at our annual charity golf day in September, helping us to we raise over £2,500.00! And lastly, we held a silent auction for two tickets to the Trentham Monkey Forest, congratulation to Mandy Taylor-Hall who had the winning bid!
As an added bonus the TG board matched every pound raised this year, doubling our fundraising efforts. We’re very proud of our team and had a blast raising money for a cause so close to our hearts.
