Autumnal Community Event
On the 30th October 2024, Trustgreen hosted a community event on one of our sites in Shropshire.
The event had a warm autumn theme and brought together local residents and families for an afternoon of seasonal activities and outdoor fun.
Children and residents were invited to take part in a variety of engaging activities, including a nature trail designed to encourage exploration of the local green space, with autumn-themed goody bag prizes and Hibernacula Building in collaboration with Naturespace, the GMC on site.
The event was a great opportunity to connect with the community, promote biodiversity, and educate residents about the biodiversity on the site.
Hibernacula Building
Residents worked alongside Trustgreen and Naturespace to construct a hibernacula on site, helping to create a habitat that supports local wildlife by providing safe shelter for hibernating creatures over the colder months.
