Trustgreen recently attended the Dorset Festival of Careers and Industry at Kingston Maurward College, hosted by Dorset Careers Hub.
The day provided an opportunity for students in years 8 to 13 from a range of local schools and colleges, with a chance to talk to local employers about careers, apprenticeships and work opportunities after they have left full time education. Following the day long event, the open evening provided further opportunity for parents to attend with their own children to hear more about local employment opportunity.
The South West team, Charlotte Spracklen (Regional Estates Manager) and Noor Stone (Regional Business Development Manager) had the opportunity to meet with students, teachers, parents, and other local employers to discuss local employment opportunities and to learn about other fantastic local businesses who are looking to hire for a range of positions.
The day presented Trustgreen with a fantastic opportunity to teach others about our core values, who we are and what we do. Refreshments provided by the college were thoroughly enjoyed by the team and the other exhibitors, and the college grounds make for a lovely way to spend a sunny day!
