The Role

As our Senior Conveyancing Solicitor, you will be crucial to our continued success by playing a key role in all in-house legal duties ensuring a sound understanding of historical covenants linked to land and title, along with requesting and reviewing search results in order to maintain our commitment to legal diligence and excellence.


The Person

To thrive in this role, you should:

  • Be a qualified legal professional with experience in property law, ideally within the housebuilding sector or green services industry (e.g., grounds maintenance, arboriculture, landscaping, estate services).
  • Be highly organised, self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of managing a diverse caseload.
  • Have a keen eye for detail, with strong organisational
  • Demonstrate strong ethical standards and a commitment to doing what is right.


Key skills Required

  • Proven experience as a senior conveyancer, with a strong technical knowledge of residential conveyancing transactions.
  • Ability to deliver exceptional client care, maintaining the highest standards of professionalism.
  • Keen attention to detail, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to prioritise your workload and support others effectively.
  • A conveyancing qualification (desirable but not essential).

You must also be able to demonstrate the ability to manage a caseload involving:

  • Leaseholds and Freeholds.
  • Sales and Purchases.
  • Transfers of Equity.
  • Shared Ownership.
  • New Builds.

Main Responsibilities

  • Engaging with all aspects of conveyancing, from initial instruction to registrations
  • Handling registered and unregistered titles, as well as dealing with land registry requisitions.
  • Checking contract papers and searches in addition to raising enquiries.
  • Dealing with post completion matters and checking titles.
  • Developing and maintaining good relationships and keeping clients fully informed throughout the process in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Developing, motivating and developing our conveyancing team.
